Freedom is the way to go!!

What an experience we had yesterday. We thought we might have seen whales in the distance but we had not one but 2 whales breach about 10 sec apart only 40 metres from the boat. They then came right up to the boat and put their heads up out of the water it felt like they were interacting with us this went on for 3/4 hr. Great day with just the right size of boat and amount of people, no one missed out on a thing. Excellent morning and afternoon teas and delightful meats and salad luncheon. Overall could not fault the day, if whale watching is your desire Freedom is the way to go.

I haven’t stopped telling everyone about last Saturday, 17 October,2015. I quietly celebrated my birthday with my husband. Everything about this trip was 100%. The food was fresh and the taste even better. Morning Tea, Lunch, Afternoon Tea, Coffee, Tea, Cold Drinks, so much to eat and there was plenty of it. We were picked up from our Caravan Park and from that time on the day just was perfect. The staff were so polite, friendly and assisting in every way possible. Through persistence of the crew we saw some amazing whale and calves playing, sleeping and just being beautifully wild. The Crew went zig zagging a bit to see the pods but it was all part of the adventure which made it even more exciting. The Crew communicated with all the visitors with continued smiles and laughter. I had a smile on my face from pick up to drop off and still have writing this review. I would Highly Recommend Freedom Whale Watch & Charters to anyone and have have been just doing that as I live only an hour away. We will most definitely be doing this trip again and so look forward to seeing the Whales, Calves, The Crew, The Smiles & the Food again. It is the best Birthday I have had in a very long time. A must do trip from Hervey Bay during the Whale migration season!

Everything about this trip was superb. ‘Freedom Whale Watch’ is obviously a highly professional, well organised and friendly company. From our hotel pick up to our return everything ran smoothly and to time. The boat was beautifully maintained and the numbers on board were small enough to make it a very enjoyable experience. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful. The food was plentiful, tasty, fresh and of a high quality so our compliments to the chefs. Tea and coffee was also available throughout the day.

Our trip was in mid October and nearing the end of the whale migration period, but we were very fortunate to have seen many whales with several very close to the boat. The Captain was excellent at not only spotting the whales, but ensured everyone knew exactly where to look and kept us amused and informed throughout the trip. He went out of his way to find as many pods as he could and was always quick to act on any  sightings by passengers.

All in all an exceptionally enjoyable day and therefore a must do trip from Hervey Bay during the Whale migration season.

Nothing was too much trouble…

Thank you so much for the brilliant day out whale watching yesterday. The whales were absolutely amazing. And while they’re definitely the stars of the show the crew aboard Freedom 111 took the trip to the next level. Helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and entertaining. Nothing was too much trouble. And the food was sooo yummy. Highly recommend Freedom Whale Watch for an experience not to be missed.

The whales were breathtaking…

Thanks Sue and Keith for a wonderful trip to see the whales. The experience was great and the staff were helpful and lovely. The food was to die for and plenty of it. The whales were breathtaking and all was done to give us a wonderful view of them.  We were recommended to do the trip with you by friends from NSW and we certainly have and will continue to pass on to all we come in contact with to go with you if they want a remarkable day. Thanks again from two grateful older people.

Great Whale Watching

I am happy that I choose this whale tour in Sep 2013. I was very satisfied. I am happy that we took this tour which is longer than the half-day tour as it gives you the possibility to go further and see more whales. We had whales for about 45 min directly up at the boat, they were actually swimming below our boat and coming up on the other side. The boat itself was full on our trip but still it was not crowded and people had enough space to watch the the whales.

Great Day, Great Service

Freedom Whale Watch was recommended to us by a friend and we were very satisfied with the day. The Freedom team were informative and made sure the day was fun. We liked the smaller boat which allowed for less cramped viewing of the whales. Food was good. Unfortunately my wife was quite seasick on the day however the crew were very caring of her condition. I would recommend Freedom to anyone anticipating a whale watching experience.

FANTASTIC!

What a day, perfect weather perfect crew and loads of whales including a southern right whale and 2 week old baby. We had a fantastic day, the food was great as was the company, both on the boat and in the water, you couldn’t ask for more. Highly recommended, dont come to Hervey Bay and miss this trip of a lifetime. A big thank you to both Keith and Sue what a fantastic job you do.

Highly recommend this tour

My friends & I had a fabulous time aboard Freedom III. There was more than enough food for everyone on board. The boat was spacious with plenty of room inside & out depending on where you wanted to sit & didnt feel crowded due to the small number of people on board. Spending 6 hours on the water means you have more time with the whales. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone deciding to go whale watching in Hervey Bay.

Awesome!

The best day from the moment we left the harbour with a young humpback within a stones throw. The boat has a character of its own, with Keith and Co providing superb service unlike I’ve seen on any vessel. The family atmosphere is unique and I couldn’t rate highly enough. I’ll be back and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Freedom III to anyone thinking about seeing the magnificent humpbacks of Hervey Bay with Keith aboard Freedom.
