Yesterday we have been on the whale charter. We had a really nice day on the boat and in the water, and off course on Fraser Island. Great working staff on board. And a really nice lunch. The boat is comfortable and very well equipped, the crew friendly, informative and interactive, lunch was fantastic and the company warm. Our Dutch visitors are amazed that we have this in our backyard and are already planning to return for whale watching season. 3 words to describe this incredible experience; WOW, WOW, WOW! Due to the incredible staff, fabulous boat & the most accommodating whales, our day out with Freedom Ecotours exceeded all of our expectations! Thanks Mark for your very informative commentary & for ensuring that the vessels' proximity to the whales did not intimidate or interfere with their mind blowing exhibition. From the male whales deciding which females to impress, to the clever mummy whales teaching their babies how to survive, all on board were witness to this amazing spectacle of love & survival! Food was yummy, not to mention abundant, & for those of us that love a beer or champagne while enjoying a special day out, the bar was well stocked. Due to unforeseen circumstances we had to change the date of our cruise to the following week but as we had booked directly with Andrea, this was no issue at all. I strongly recommend dealing with these guys instead of a 3rd party as nothing is too much trouble for them. I cannot recommend this tour highly enough! WOW!

Went out on friday 18/10. Left on time, in a comfortable clean ship. 2 person female crew who did a fantastic job of spotting whales and food catering for us. Been in Hervey Bay for 6 years, been whale watching on 7 ships and this was by far the best of all. Saw 5 pods as well as a chase pod (never seen one before). A very good day out and received great friendly service. Mike Robinson

We saw heaps of whales. Thank you to Mark and Bec for their great hospitality with good food and drinks on board. And with his knowledge of the surrounding habitat, islands, wildlife and especially the about the Whales. Gary Wison It was a Birthday present from me to Gary and I could not have picked a better Whale Watching Tour company. Great value, great food, beautiful vessel, Mark and Bec were the best hosts loaded with knowledge and happy to answer any questions. We will definitely be booking future tours with Freedom Ecotours. Tremenda experiencia! Muy buen servicio! 6h de whale watching considero que es un buen tiempo para aumentar las posibilidades de ver las ballenas. Otros tour de 4 o 3h pueden ser insuficientes. El stuff super agradable, muy serviciales. La comida muy buena, fresca, todo muy rico. Hicieron todo el esfuerzo para poder ver las ballenas y nos acercamos a ellas. Barco y los baños muy limpios. Nos ofrecieron las patillas para seasickness gratis. Muy contenta con el tour.

Today 13/10/24 we did our 3rd Whale Watching Cruise with FREEDOM WHALE watching Cruise. At the end of the season now we didn't see as many as other years mid season but the new owners gave us a great day. Skipper worked so hard getting us close to some whales. We were fed well all day long as usual with previous owners. Anyone contemplating coming to see the Whales next year remember "FREEDOM" give you 6 hrs a full day for the same price as others no lunch and 4.5 hrs. Highly recommend FREEDOM
